Client Objectives

Yahil Ferry decided they needed a completely new look and had their brand relaunch in November of 2019. The goal was to re-establish their new brand and maintain their old client base, while continuing to expand and grow. They also had developed a new line of products including handmade leather dog collars and wanted to find new consumers that were more dog-focused (which is my speciality) so I was happy to take on the challenge.

Strategy

Being not only the copywriter but also the account manager for Yahil Ferry, it was my job to understand the brand's style, goals, influences, tone, and objectives inside out. From delving headfirst into the brand, I picked out key pieces of information that would help their customers relate to them and build a solid foundation of trust.

Running the social media pages (Instagram and Facebook) allowed me to re-connect with old customers and direct their attention to the new Yahil Ferry. My strategy including reaching out to influencers to help proliferate the new brand and work with them to grow awareness of the re-launch. With creating all copy and content for social media pages, landing pages, ad campaigns, newsletters, the website blog, I was able to fully cognizant Yahil Ferry's needs as an e-commerce brand.

I worked directly with Yahil Ferry's Branding Consultant and creator Yahil herself - to make sure we struck the right balance between their tone, style, and utilizing known sales techniques.

Outcome

We were able to establish a solid customer base due to the influencer program. Three micro-influencers were chosen each month, and through their content, we saw an incredible reach of new customers. By adapting the dog stories and dog influencers into our plan, we saw a tremendous increase in customers. We had new traffic continuously visiting the website, and new subscribers to newsletters every week. We sold out in leather dog collars during the first couple of months during the re-launch.
