Tumbleweed Boots is a Texas-based premium leather boot brand

Client Objectives

With the company newly launching in November of 2019, the goal was to establish brand awareness and build a dedicated client base.

​

Strategy

 

Being not only the copywriter but also the account manager for Tumbleweed, it was my job to understand the brand's style, goals, influences, tone, and objectives inside out. Inspired by the likes of Tecovas, Thursday Boots, and Helm Boots, Tumbleweed's long term goal was to join the ranks of these popular brands. From delving headfirst into the brand, I picked out key pieces of information that would help their customers relate to them and build a solid foundation of trust.

Running the social media pages (Instagram and Facebook) allowed me to connect with the consumers and to also build a "tribe" of influencers to help gain brand awareness. With creating all copy and content for social media pages, landing pages, ad campaigns, newsletters, the website blog, and even billboards, I was able to fully cognizant of Tumbleweed's needs as an e-commerce brand. 

I worked directly with Tumbleweed's Branding Consultant to make sure we struck the right balance between their tone, style, and utilizing known sales techniques.

Outcome

​

We were able to establish a solid customer-base due to the influencer program. Six micro-influencers were chosen each month, and through their content, we saw an incredible reach of new customers. We had new traffic continuously visiting the website, and new subscribers to newsletters every week. As a result, Tumbleweed’s sales increased by 74% from their launch date.
